Method for implementing the spatial frequency block coding, SFBC, for OFDM wireless communication, the method comprising performing a channel coding on an input data stream; and multiplex the coded data stream to at least two data streams; characterized by: obtaining information on the status of the channel, CSI; calculate the energy of the channel for each of a series of own modes for the formation of own beams of multiple multiple input inputs, MIMO, the energy of the channel being calculated based on values of channel matrices for all subcarriers; calculate signal-to-noise and interference ratios, SNIRs, for own modes based on the calculated channel energy; group own modes in an order of the channel energy of the own modes, so that half of the own modes with the largest channel energies are in one group, and the other half with the minor channel energies are in the other ; calculate the separation of SNIRs from each half; determine a data transmission rate that can be supported based on the CSI; distribute bit rates between own modes based on the separation of SNIRs; match subcarriers and own modes for SFBC coding; carry out SFBC coding on the pairs of own and subcarrier modes; carry out the formation of own beams in function of the CSI to distribute own beams to a plurality of transmission antennas; and carry out inverse Fourier transform to convert the resulting frequency streams to data in the time domain for transmission.
