PURPOSE: A method and a device for reporting a terminal performance supporting a short message service are provided to reduce implementation of a new procedure in Interworking-Wireless Local Area Network User Equipment side, thereby reporting a collapse message for retransmitting or checking receiving SMS data by simple operation. CONSTITUTION: A performance report device(610) sends a performance report of a UE(User Euipment)(602) to a proxy device(620). A message device(630) sends a SMS message to the proxy device. It the UE can receives the SMS, the proxy device sends the SMS to the message device(612). A delivery report device(614) sends a delivery report to a delivery report device(622) of a IP-SM-GW(Internet Protocol Short Message Gateway)(604). The IP-SM-GW sends the delivery report to a delivery report device(632) of a SMSC(Short Message Service Center)(606).
