PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve fast handover of a mobile terminal between heterogeneous wireless access networks, e.g., between a UMTS and a WLAN.SOLUTION: A mobile terminal configured to perform handover between heterogeneous networks from an originating wireless access network, to which the mobile terminal is connected, to a target wireless access network comprises: a receiving unit for receiving a bearer setup request message, which requests the mobile terminal to establish a radio access bearer (RAB), from a service node which has received a request message requesting to create a context from a packet data gateway; a bearer establishing unit for establishing a radio bearer between a control node and the mobile terminal in the target wireless access network; and a sending unit for sending, through the target wireless access network to the service node, a service request message for initiating update of the context created by the service node.
