Abstract  Abstract

METHOD FOR CONFIGURING A CONNECTION CONTEXT TO DELIVER A PACKAGE DATA SERVICE TO A MOBILE TERMINAL THROUGH A TARGET WIRELESS ACCESS NETWORK, AUTHENTICATION SERVER TO START A CONTEXT CONNECTION TO A CONTEXT CONNECTION PACKAGE TO A MOBILE TERMINAL THROUGH A TARGET WIRELESS NETWORK, PACKAGE DATA PORT TO BEGIN SETTING A CONNECTION DELIVER A PACKAGE DATA SERVICE TO A WIRELESS NETWORK TARGET, PACKAGE DATA SERVICE SUPPORT NOTICE IN A CENTRAL NETWORK CONNECTED TO A TARGET NETWORK TO CONFIGURE A CONTEXT TO DELIVER A PACKAGE DATA SERVICE TO A MOBILE TERMINAL THROUGH THE WIRELESS AND ACCESS TERMINAL CAN BE READ BY COMPUTER. The invention relates to a method for setting a context for the distribution of a packet data service connection to a mobile terminal via a target wireless access network. The handset is initially connected to a source wireless access network and packet data service can be transferred to the handset over the source wireless network. Furthermore, the invention provides an authentication server, a packet data port and a packet data service support node that participates in the context configuration method. To provide, for example, a method for establishing the connection for packet service delivery to a mobile terminal from a wireless access network, a UMTS, as quickly as possible, the invention suggests the preconfiguration of the provision of packet data service service over the target wireless access network by establishing a context before the mobile terminal connects to the target wireless access network.
