Abstract Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handover method for a mobile terminal connected to an originating wireless access network to perform a different network high-speed handover toward a target wireless access network.
SOLUTION: The method has a step wherein a packet data gate way transmits a requirement message to require generating a context to a service node, a step wherein the service node generates the context and transmits a bearer set-up requirement message to require establishing a wireless access bearer to the mobile terminal when the service node receives the requirement message, a step wherein the mobile terminal establishes the wireless bearer between a control node and the mobile terminal in the target wireless access network, and a step wherein the mobile terminal transmits a service requirement message for starting an update of the generated context to the service node through the target wireless access network.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
