Abstract
A method for sending a block of data that includes a supported confirmation / non-confirmation field (ACK / NACK) (PAN), method comprising: generating a PAN field; generate a PAN verification sequence (PCS) from the PAN field; mask the PCS with a reserved value to generate a masked PCS under a condition that a predetermined condition is met; generate a block of data that includes a header, a part of data, the PAN field and the masked PCS, where the data part and the PAN field are directed towards different temporal block flows (TBFs); and send the data block. A method for receiving a data block that includes a supported ACK / NACK field (PAN), an apparatus for sending a data block that includes a supported ACK / NACK field, and an apparatus for receiving a data block are also disclosed. which includes a supported ACK / NACK field.
