Abstract
To provide a method and a device for establishing millimeter wave (mmW) link communication that performs initial selection of a candidate mmW base station (mB) and acquisition of a mmW resource by receiving the support of a cellular network.SOLUTION: An mmW radio transmission/reception unit (mUE) transmits mUE information to a base station (meNB) supporting a cellular link and an mmW link through a cellular system and receives a candidate list of candidate mmW base stations (mB) including mmW acquisition start timing information (320). An mB transmits a beacon to the meNB at designated time (325), and the mUE performs sliding window correlation by using an mB in the candidate list and a signature sequence corresponding to a beam (330).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
