A method for delivering a service request, applied to a network system comprising two terminating network domains: a circuit switching network, CS, and a Multimedia Subsystem, IMS, of the Internet protocol, IP, comprising the method: acquiring, by means of a network domain selection request entity in the network system, the determination of the termination network domain selection in a network domain selection entity (NeDS ) in the network system upon receiving a service request for a called user who is serviced, and characterized by delivering the service request in a first domain of the termination network of the two domains of the termination network specified by the determination of the termination network domain selection to connect the called user; retry the delivery of the service request in a second domain of the termination network of the two domains of the termination network, to connect the called user when the called user is unreachable in the first domain of the termination network.
