The present invention discloses a method for service request delivery applied to a network system including a CS domain and IMS. The method includes that a network domain selection query entity acquires determination of a terminating network domain selection from a network domain selection entity (NeDS) in the network system upon receiving a service request destined to a served called user and delivering the service request in a terminating network domain specified by the determination of a terminating network domain selection to connect the called user; the network domain selection query entity routes the service request to another terminating network domain to re-attempt the service request delivery when the called user is unreachable in the original terminating network domain. The present invention also discloses a communication apparatus and a network system.
