Abstract
The invention relates to a process for transmitting multimedia data. The process involves the steps: Transmit a request 21 from a subscriber device (2) through a control channel (18A) of an access network (4) to an application mode (8) for defining a set of encryption parameters (k), generating a encryption box (CC) relative to all encryption parameters (k) through the application mode (8) and transmitting the encryption box (CC) from the application mode (8) to a multimedia server (10) via a control interface ( 17) a central network (7). The encrypted media data (27) is then decrypted or the encrypted media data (28) is encrypted using the encryption box (CC) via the multimedia server (10), so that an encrypted data transmission (27) takes place. multimedia (10) and subscriber device (2).
