Abstract
The invention claims a method for transmitting media data. the method comprises the following steps: determining a set of encryption parameters (k) function (8) to the application transmission request (21) of the access network (4) via a control channel (18A) from the user equipment (2) control interface (17) according to the set of encryption parameters (k) via the application function (8) generates encryption context (CC) and via a core network (7) from application function (8) to media server (10) transmitting the encryption context (CC). decrypting the encrypted media data (27) then the media server (10) using the encryption context (CC) lower or media data (28) encrypted so that the un-encrypted generating media data between the media server (10) and user equipment (2) (27) of encrypted transmission. The invention further relates to the network device (1) and a computer program product for carrying out the method.
The invention relates to a method for transmitting media data. The method comprises the following steps: transmitting a request (21) from a subscriber terminal (2) via a control channel (18A) of an access network (4) to an application function (8) for determining a set of encoding parameters (k); generating an encoding context (CC) by the application function (8) in accordance with the set of encoding parameters (k); and transmitting the encoding context (CC) from the application function (8) to a media server (10) via a control interface (17) of a core network (7). Either encoded media data (27) are then decoded or unencoded media data (28) are encoded by the media server (10) using the encoding context (CC) in such a way that an encoded transmission of media data (27) is carried out between the media server (10) and the subscriber terminal (2). The invention also relates to a network arrangement (1) and a computer program product suitable for carrying out the method.
