Abstract  Abstract

The invention claims an uplink signal quality or interference information for at least temporarily maintained at the wireless device recording to analyze and covering uplink interference or path loss associated with uplink provided by one or more base stations of the wireless network for example. In some examples the base station may request the record from the wireless device of the up-link signal quality or interference information. the wireless device may have been configured for an uplink signal quality or interference characteristic of one or more communication link measurement between one or more base stations of the wireless device with the wireless network. the recording quality or interference information of the uplink signal can be based on the measured uplink signal quality or interference characteristics. Other examples are described and claimed.

Examples are disclosed for analyzing uplink interference or pathloss associated with uplink coverage provided by one or more base stations for a wireless network based on logged uplink signal quality or interference information at least temporarily maintained at a wireless device. In some examples a base station may request the logged uplink signal quality or interference information from the wireless device. The wireless devices may have been configured to measure uplink signal quality or interference characteristics for one or more communication links between the wireless device and one or more base stations of the wireless network. The logged uplink signal quality or interference information may be based on the measured uplink signal quality or interference characteristics. Other examples are described and claimed.
