Abstract  Abstract

The present invention provides a method and apparatus for allocating and signaling an ACK / NACK channel resource in a wireless communication system, and applying different ACK / NACK channel allocation according to a method in which data channels are scheduled, thereby requiring ACK / NACK channel transmission. While optimizing the amount of resources, information on the ACK / NACK channel resources is efficiently signaled to the terminal. Specifically, channel resources of ACK / NACK channels for data channels for non-persistent scheduling are implicitly determined by channel resources of Scheduling Control Channels (SCCHs) corresponding to the data channels. On the other hand, channel resources of ACK / NACK channels for data channels for permanent scheduling are explicitly indicated by resource allocation information during initial scheduling.
