Abstract
The present invention processes the input signals in parallel using a plurality of PN despreaders to increase the offset that can be retrieved per unit clock, thereby making pilot signals effective and fast in CDMA systems. Relates to a searcher and a method. This invention comprises a first shift register bank for storing a PN code; A second shift register bank for storing input data; A despread bank for despreading the input data in parallel using the PN code when the first and second shift register banks have a predetermined number of PN codes and input data; And an adder for adding the output signals of the despread banks to each other.
