Abstract  Abstract

The invention performing the signal search in the mobile communication system device and method capable of processing input signals in a parallel manner. the signal searcher device in communication system comprises a first sequential storage device and a second sequential storage device they are respectively used for storing the PN code and the input signal. signal searcher can comprises a plurality of despreading devices they can by means of parallel input signal with I and Q components to de-spread using the PN code. in the coherent accumulation length is the number of de-spreading device of multiple times the buffer of the additional store (e.g. temporarily) the number of PN offset accumulation by the number equal to the searched with I and Q components of the de-spread signal. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention it can improve the speed of pilot signal searching and/or can increase the PN offset and coherent length calculated.
