Abstract  Abstract

The invention claims a method and a device to allocate reference signals in a wireless communication system. An exemplary disclosed device comprises a reference signal generator (501) based on the assigned parameter of wireless area generates the reference sequence (505) wherein the parameter specifies a first reference sequence to be the first device wireless area of the transmission during the first time interval the first reference sequence and the second device assigned to the second wireless area of the second reference sequence are different adjacent to the second wireless area and the first wireless area. reference sequence generator comprises a cyclic shift selector (503) and shifter (506) a circulating displacement selector (503) is selecting cyclic shifts in the first time interval based on the parameter a circulation shifter (506) based on the selected cyclic shift cyclically shift the first reference signal. An example apparatus further comprises transmission cyclic shifts for the first reference sequence of transport adapter (510).
