Abstract  Abstract

The invention discloses a method and equipment for switching to service network. The method includes receiving a first switching request sent from a BSC/RNC(base station controller/radio network controller); sending a second switching request, including an IMSI(international mobile subscriber identification number) and first information for determining a source SGSN(serving GPRS support node), to a target MME (mobility management entity) according the first switching request, thereby bringing convenience for the MME to send context requests containing the IMSI to the source SGSN and receive the context requests, of the user equipment corresponding to the IMSI, sent from the source SGSN. The equipment comprises an MSC (mobility switch center) server, the SGSN, the MME and the BSC/RNC. The MME which is determined by the MSC server sends the context request information to the SGSN, so that the MSC server and the SGSN can be in interaction with the same MME during switching of rSRVCC (reverse single radio voice call continuity), and accordingly failure in switching caused by the fact that the MSC server and the SGSN respectively select different MME can be avoided, PS(packet switch) and CS (circuit service)switching processes can be synchronized, accuracy and efficiency of switching can be improved, and users experiences can be enhanced.
