Abstract  Abstract

The embodiment of the invention claims a method and device for configuring reference signal. The method comprises the following steps: reference signal density with the same carrier frequency for N frequency band of each frequency band according to the measuring requirement is configured with the corresponding reference signal information with each frequency at least two frequency bands of the reference signal information contained in the configuration of the N frequency bands are different in which N is an integer greater than or equal to a positive integer greater than 2 reference signal information is information required for generating a reference signal the reference signal density is reference signal or pattern distribution density of the reference signal in the time domain or the distribution density in the frequency domain the reference signal information to the user equipment so that the user equipment for channel measurement according to the reference signal information. The embodiment of the invention according to different test requirements of different frequency band provided reference signal information in the condition of ensuring measuring precision of the reference signal it reduces the cost of the reference signal.
