The invention claims a method for switching wireless technology for use in wireless communication the method comprising: receiving a first message from a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) via a first wireless network wherein the first wireless network based on a first wireless technology; the first message indication is different from the second wireless technology based on wireless network-related information of the request and the second wireless technique and the first wireless technology and responding to the first message by sending a second message to the WTRU by the first wireless network. an identifier of one or more wireless network wherein the second message comprises the second wireless technology.
