Abstract  Abstract

The invention claims a method and a device for sending/receiving the state of a register in a mobile communication system supporting uplink packet data service. The register is used for storing dispatching packet data sent by a piece of user equipment (UE) and for requesting uplink packet data service. The method for sending the state of a register comprises: a) determining whether there is packet data in each of priority queues to be sent; b) generating media access control-protocol data unit (MAC-PDU) including dispatching information; wherein the dispatching information is composed of at least one priority queue ID of priority queues of the packet data to be sent and the number of the packet data representing at least one priority queue ID; and c) sending the MAC-PDU to a node B for dispatching uplink packet data service of the UE; wherein priority queues have different priorities.
