Abstract  Abstract

The present invention relates to the field of communication. Disclosed are a method and device for controlling transmission power the method comprising: setting a power back-off value of the transmission power for transmitting data in a second access technology according to the transmission status of transmitting data in a first access technology; controlling the transmission power of the transmitting data in the second access technology according to the power back-off value. The device comprising: a setting module setting a power back-off value of the transmission power for transmitting data in the second access technology according to the transmission status of the transmitting data in the first access technology; a control module controlling the transmission power for transmitting data in the second access technology according to the power back-off value. The technical solution of the present invention controls the transmission power in the second access technology while ensuring the transmission power in the first access technology thus controlling the total transmission power in multi-access technologies and reducing radiation to the human body.
