Abstract
A method a device and a communication system for group call are disclosed in the embodiments of present invention. The method includes: a mobile switch center (MSC) receives request information transmitted from a mobile station (MS) to establish a group call wherein the MSC is in an MSC pool; according to the request information the MSC serves the group call wherein the group call register (GCR) that connects with anyone of MSCs in the MSC pool contains the attribution information of the group call and the attribution information is used to make anyone of MSCs in the MSC pool have the function as the serving MSC to serve the group call wherein the serving MSC is the anchor MSC or the relay MSC in the MSC pool. The method device and communication system for group call provided in the embodiments of present invention can improve the disaster tolerance capability of the group call system based on the MSC pool.
