Abstract  Abstract

Methods and devices for allocating ACK/NACK channel resources and processing confirmation information are provided. One of the methods comprises: one physical channel area of multiple physical channel areas occupied by ACK/NACK channels is determined at the network side and the user device is informed of the determined physical channel area; the user device determines the channels for receiving or sending ACK/NACK information in the physical channel area according to a mapping rule. In addition the ACK/NACK information can also be sent or received in the physical channel area for the ACK/NACK channels at the network side. Utilization rate and flexibility of the ACK/NACK channels can be efficiently improved and the possibility of generating conflicts in the ACK/NACK channels can be reduced by the methods and devices.
