A method for updating serving generic access network controller list a device and a terminal equipment are provided in the embodiment of present invention. The method includes: a mobile terminal obtains an indication that the mobile terminal are not allowed to store the information of a serving GANC and acquires an operation indication to a local serving GANC list; the mobile terminal processes the local serving GANC list according to the operation indication. The device includes: an obtaining module and a process module. The technical scheme of the embodiment of present invention can make the updating operation of the mobile terminal to the local GANC list meet the requirement of GAN network and can improve the rate of success for a mobile terminal registering in GAN network and can correspondingly improve the user experience.
