Abstract
The invention claims a method for updating serving generic access network controller (GANC) table comprising: a mobile terminal obtains indications that do not permit the mobile terminal to store serving GANC and acquires operation indications to local serving GANC table; the mobile terminal processes local serving GANC table according to the operation indications. The invention further claims a device for updating serving generic access network controller table. Technique project in the invention can enable update operations on local GANC table carried out by the mobile terminal to accord with demand of the GAN network which increases register success rate on GAN network of the mobile terminal and relatively increases user experience.
