Abstract
Disclosed is a method and apparatus for transmitting data by a terminal in a mobile telecommunication system the method including transmitting a scheduling request for requesting resources for transmitting the data monitoring a control channel to receive resource allocation information continuously monitoring the control channel during a first period if the resources are allocated transmitting the data based on the allocated resources and monitoring the control channel to receive feedback information corresponding to the data during a second period following the transmission of the data.

Claim
1. A method for transmitting data by a terminal in a mobile telecommunication system, the method comprising:
transmitting a scheduling request for requesting resources for transmitting the data;
monitoring a control channel to receive resource allocation information;
monitoring the control channel during a period if the resources are allocated;
transmitting the data based on the allocated resources;
receiving feedback information corresponding to the data after the transmission of the data; and
stopping the monitoring of the control channel if the period has elapsed or a command is received.
2. An apparatus for transmitting data in a mobile telecommunication system, the apparatus comprising:
a transceiver that transmits and receives a signal; and
a controller that controls the transceiver to transmit a scheduling request for requesting resources for transmitting the data and to transmit the data based on the allocated resources, monitors a control channel to receive resource allocation information, monitors the control channel during a period if the resources are allocated, receives feedback information corresponding to the signal after the transmission of the signal, and stops the monitoring of the control channel if the period has elapsed or a command is received.
3. A method of receiving data by a base station in a mobile communication system, the method comprising:
receiving a scheduling request for requesting resources for receiving the data from a terminal;
allocating the resources to the terminal via a control channel and receiving the data based on the allocated resources from the terminal;
transmitting the control channel to the terminal during a period after allocating the resources;
transmitting feedback information corresponding to the data after the reception of the data; and
transmitting a command for stopping monitoring of the control channel to the terminal.
4. An apparatus for receiving a signal in a mobile communication system, the apparatus comprising:
a transceiver that transmits and receives a signal,
a controller that controls the transceiver to transmit a control channel to the terminal, after allocating the resources to the terminal, receive the data based on the allocated resources from the terminal, transmit the control channel to the terminal during a period after allocating the resources, transmit feedback information corresponding to the data after the reception of the data, allocates the resources, and transmits a command for stopping monitoring of the control channel to the terminal.
