METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONFIGURING AND SENDING DOWNLINK MEASUREMENT PILOT FREQUENCY.

Abstract

A method for configuring and sending downlink measurement pilot frequency is provided. The method includes: the base station configures the downlink measurement pilot frequency and sends the configuration information of the downlink measurement pilot frequency to the user equipment (UE) wherein the configuration information includes a starting sub-frame number and/or a cycle of the downlink measurement pilot frequency; the base station sends the downlink measurement pilot frequency to the UE according to the configuration information of the downlink measurement pilot frequency.
