Abstract  Abstract

The invention claims a method for configuring and detecting downlink measurement pilot frequency comprising steps as follows: configuring the initial sub-frame number and the period of the downlink measurement pilot frequency by a base station; sending the configuration information of the downlink measurement pilot frequency to the UE by said base station said configuration information comprising the initial sub-frame number and period of the downlink measurement pilot frequency; sending said downlink measurement pilot frequency to said UE by said base station according to the configuring information of the downlink measurement pilot frequency while the downlink data are sent to said UE by said base station and measuring the channel by said UE according to the configuration information of said downlink measurement pilot frequency. The invention claims the method for configuring and sending the downlink measurement pilot frequency of an LTE-A system and the invention is capable of flexibly configuring the downlink measurement pilot frequency according to the work requirement of the system.
