Abstract  Abstract

The group size indication is distributed from the base station to the mobile station in the form of A-A-MAP transmission control signaling. The signaling control information may be transmitted to a station, such as a mobile station, using a table indicating group size based on coding rates such as 1/2 and 1/4 coding rates. Waste can be controlled by determining the size based on using non-occupied resources in groups close to the data resources for data transmission by the station. However, in a group not in close proximity to the data resource, non-occupied resources will not be used for data transmission and are thus wasted.
