Abstract  Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for monitoring message traffic and to first and second network units for implementing the method. In a method for monitoring message traffic between a communication unit KE in which the message traffic is initiated by a SIP-control message and a first network unit NE1 of one mobile radio communication system MS, a SIP-control message is generated. Evaluated by the second network unit NE2 with reference to at least one analysis parameter SYP, an analysis result SYE is created therefrom, and at least one usage information NI is obtained by the analysis result AYE. And the usage information NI is transmitted to the first network unit NE1, and the communication unit KE and the first network unit are communicated by the first network unit NE1 using the usage information NI. (NE1) Inter-message traffic is monitored. The invention also includes a first network unit NE1 with means for monitoring message traffic between the communication unit KE and the first network unit NE1 of one mobile radio communication system MS. In addition, the invention also comprises a second network unit NE2 with means for carrying out the method according to the invention.
