Abstract  Abstract

The present invention provides an apparatus and method for selecting a cell as a home cell or a private network cell accessible only to a specific terminal or a specific terminal group in a mobile communication system.

According to the present invention, the terminal performs cell selection by checking whether the candidate cell belongs to a list including information on a home cell or a private network cell accessible only by at least one specific terminal stored by the terminal.
