Abstract  Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for operating a multi-beam forming transmitter/receiver in a radio communication system.

SOLUTION: An operation method of a base station in a radio communication system includes: a process for transmitting a reference signal with respect to at least one beam pattern among a plurality of beam patterns via at least one resource period among a plurality of resource periods; a process for receiving feedback information corresponding to the reference signal with respect to at least one beam pattern; and a process for transmitting a data signal via a first beam pattern determined on the basis of the feedback information therein each of the plurality of beam patterns corresponds to mutually different beam width.
