Abstract  Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for supporting a plurality of hybrid automatic retransmission request (H-ARQ) processes at each transmission time interval (TTI).

SOLUTION: A transmitter and a receiver contain a plurality of H-ARQ processes for transmitting/receiving a plurality of transmission blocks (TB) at the same time for each TTI. The transmitter generates a plurality of TBs and assigns the TB to the plurality of H-ARQ processes. The transmitter transmits to the receiver the control information for the TB and the H-ARQ process related to the TB. The transmitter then transmits the TB for each TTI at the same time using the plurality of H-ARQ processes. After receiving the TB the receiver transmits a feedback for each TB which represents success or failure about reception of each TB to the transmitter.
