Abstract  Abstract

The present invention discloses a method for realizing uplink frequency hopping transmission applied to a communication system having a time slotted frame structure. The method receives a frequency band and a frequency hopping pattern allocated from the network side, and performs uplink transmission in one frequency band allocated within a first time interval divided in advance according to the frequency hopping pattern. After that, transmission is performed by hopping to another frequency band allocated within the second time interval divided in advance. The present invention further provides a system and terminal for uplink frequency hopping transmission. According to the present invention, frequency hopping can be realized in one transmission time interval among the alternative frame structure elements in a long time evolution (LTE) project, and frequency diversity gain can be obtained.
