Abstract  Abstract

A user equipment apparatus, UE, (130), the apparatus comprising a processing circuitry and a transmit-receive circuitry configured to: receive the radio resource control signaling, RRC, from an evolved node B, eNB, (110) in order to configure the UE to report the periodic channel status information, CSI, for each of two or more active service cells, using a physical uplink control channel, PUCCH, the information being CSI according to a PUCCH information type of a plurality of PUCCH information, for each of the two or more active service cells; generating the CSI reports for each of the two or more active service cells, each CSI report being configured according to one of the PUCCH information types; and discard one or more of the CSI reports generated for different service cells, for PUCCH information types having the same priority, when a collision occurs, where one or more of the CSI reports are discarded based on one or more than one transmission mode, a serving cell index, or a CSI process identifier, ID, associated with the CSI report; and where, when, the UE is configured for transmission mode 10 in at least one of the active service cells, and the UE is configured for transmission mode 1-9 in at least one of the other active service cells, the The apparatus is further configured to receive an update of a virtual CSI process index from the eNB via RRC signaling, the update being configured to change the prioritization between transmission modes 1-9 and transmission mode 10 via the setting the virtual CSI process index of transmission modes 1-9 between 0 and a non-zero value.
