Abstract  Abstract

One or more computer readable media (616) having instructions stored therein, which when executed by one or more processors (604) of a user equipment (104), cause the user equipment (104): to obtain , from an evolved Node B, eNB, (108) of a wireless communication network, a time domain average indicator having a single bit to indicate whether the user equipment (104) should restrict the interference measurement to a number of interference measurement resources of the channel status information, CSI-IM, recently received in a single subframe or not; derive an interference measurement based on said indicated number of CSI-IM resources recently received in said single subframe; compute a value of the channel quality indicator, CQI, based on the derived interference measurement; and communicate the value of the CQI to the eNB (108); characterized in that the single bit of the time domain average indicator must have a first value to indicate that the user equipment (104) must restrict the interference measurement to that number of recently received CSI-IM resources in the single subframe , or a second value to indicate that the time domain average is not restricted in a time domain.
