Abstract  Abstract

This disclosure relates to one or more computer-readable media having instructions stored thereon that when executed by one or more processors of a user equipment (UE) cause the UE to obtain from an evolved Node B (eNB) of a wireless communication network a time domain averaging indicator having a single bit to indicate whether the UE is to restrict interference measurement to a number of recently received CSI-IM resources in a single subframe or not; derive an interference measurement based on said indicated number of recently received CSI-IM resources in said single subframe; compute a channel quality indicator (CQI) value based on the derived interference measurement; and report the CQI value to the eNB. Furthermore this disclosure relates to an apparatus comprising one or more processors and one or more of the computer-readable media.
