Abstract
A wireless communication system for implementing the relocation of a supervised wireless network (SRNS) system, the system comprising: (a) a source radio network controller (RNC); (b) a General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) gateway support node (GGSN) connected to the destination RNC via a first User Level Tunnel (GTP-U Tunnel) of the GPRS Tunneling Protocol (GTP); and (c) a destination RNC connected to the GGSN via a second GTP-U tunnel, wherein the second GTP-U tunnel is established between the destination RNC and the GGSN and the first GTP-U tunnel is enabled when the SRNS relocation is implemented.
