The present invention provides an uplink channel maintaining method used in a mobile communication system with the support of unauthorized carrier a base station which executes the method and a user terminal. The method comprises a step of detecting whether the unauthorized carrier resource is available or not and a step of sending a channel maintaining signal in a detected available unauthorized carrier resource. According to the embodiment of the present invention the available unauthorized carrier resource can be ensured in a time period from a time when the available unauthorized carrier resource is detected to the time of the emitting and becoming effective of an uplink authorization.
