The invention relates to a method and system of providing up-link control in a wireless communication network. The invention further relates to a wireless communication network and providing uplink control and pilot signals method and system the pilot signals with minimal signal overhead for providing channel estimation and data demodulation. an uplink control structure makes the mobile terminal for communication with the corresponding base station to perform various functions the function comprises obtaining the initial system access bandwidth request continuation of protocol service control or provide a proposed allocation re-configuration header. providing a dedicated random access channel to communicatively connecting the base station and the mobile terminal so the mobile terminal can select a random access signaling identification. receiving from the mobile terminal at the base station to uplink resource information of the resource request and receiving initial access information request from the mobile terminal to configure the base station connection. providing a change of density of pilot signals arranged in the contiguous resource blocks comprises device for multiplexing low density symbol patterns and a high density symbol patterns of a single resource block.
