Abstract  Abstract

A method and apparatus are provided in a long term evolution (LTE) system for dynamic resource allocation for variable data real time services (RTS) scheduling and transmission of the signal. Preferably the used for uplink RTS traffic data rate change report to an evolved Node B (eNB) by a UE using layer 1 2 or 3. by adding or removing radio blocks currently assigned to the data stream the eNB in response to the change of the data rate and for dynamically allocating the physical resource and the eNB sends the new resource allocation to the UE. In an alternative embodiment the table stored in the eNB and the UE indicates that the mapping of physical resource so that the UE uses the table for localized allocation of physical resources according to the UL data rate change RTS data rate under certain channel conditions. In addition it also presents a method and apparatus for the RTS data stream advanced configuration.
