Abstract
Embodiment 4 of the present invention is transmitting antenna of code rate 1 2 and 4 code provides orthogonal frequency division multiplexing space time block code (OFDMSTBC) mapping. In order to overcome the inherent weakness of known code for providing one of the STBC code. It is especially suitable for OFDM application but also consider other applications. providing a plurality of antennas on the time direction on the frequency direction STBC mapping and combinations of time frequency mapping code. In OFDM applications the code using the attribute of OFDM and FEC code so as to substantially keep the advantages of Alamouti code. In addition although the detailed example provided herein is placed on the four-antenna application but they can be extended to a system with more than four antennas.
