Abstract
The embodiment of the invention claims a code rate of 4. 1 2 and 4 code provides the frequency division multiplexing space time block code (OFDMSTBC). In order to overcome the inherent weakness of known code which provides a new STBC code it is especially suitable for OFDM but also consider other applications. Providing for a plurality of antenna in the time direction the code of the STBC mapping and combined time frequency mapping on the frequency direction. The property code of the OFDM the codes using OFDM and FEC so as to substantially maintain Alamouti code. Furthermore although described herein provide a detailed example emphasis placed on four antenna applications but they can be easily extended to the system with more than four antennas.
