Abstract  Abstract

A method base station and user equipment for reporting and obtaining Channel State Information (CSI) are provided by the invention. The method for reporting CSI includes the following steps: the reporting content is confirmed in the CSI of the downlink composition carriers based on the priority of the content in the CSI (S122) wherein the CSI of the downlink composition carriers includes the reporting content and the non reporting content; the reporting content is reported to the base station in Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) (S123). By using priority to confirm the reporting content in CSI the invention can relieve the stress status of the CSI reporting resource.
