Abstract  Abstract

The embodiment of the invention claims a channel state information reporting and acquiring method a base station and user equipment wherein the channel state information reporting method comprises the following steps of: determining reporting content in CSI (channel state information) of a downlink component carrier according to the priority of the content in the CSI wherein the CSI of the downlink component carrier comprises the reporting content and non-reporting content; and reporting the reporting content to the base station through a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH). The tension status of CSI reporting resources can be eased by determining the reporting content in the CSI through the priority.
