Abstract  Abstract

The invention claims a random access method for physical layer of the wideband time division dual honeybomb system. It comprises that terminal receives the systematic broadcast information of the cell so as to obtain the configuration information of the cell UpPTS time slot on the audio frequency. The terminal emits random access sequence to the base-station on the UpPTS time slot. The configuration information of said UpPTS time slot on the audio frequency comprises frequency wave band umber information with respect to the UpPTS time slot divided within the whole usage bandwidth the bandwidth size of each waveband and the frequency point information of each wave band. The physical layer random access method of the invention provide different terminals to use the wave band of the UpPTS time slot so as to reduce the probability of collision caused by the competition among the terminals emitting random access sequence and reduce the access time. It can realize effectively and fast random access process.
