Abstract  Abstract

A method, a base station and a user equipment for providing feedback on Acknowledgement/Negative-acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) message during the carrier aggregation are provided by the present invention. The method includes: configuring the predefined common field of the Downlink Control Information (DCI) to be at least one type of ACK/NACK feedback related command field in the at least two types of ACK/NACK feedback related command fields which the common field can be configured to be; sending the DCI to a user equipment, so as to provide feedback on ACK/NACK message based on the DCI by the user equipment. The embodiment of the present invention can implement the backward compatibility of the feedback on ACK/NACK message under the carrier aggregation to the Long Term Evolution (LTE) system.
