Abstract
Methods and apparatus for wireless data communication are described herein, using various radio access technologies (RAT) on television band frequencies (TVBD). An architecture for communicating wireless data on TVBD frequencies may include one or more network nodes, which perform functions related to the coordination of channel silence between multiple and various RATs. Channel silence can be performed between multiple and various RATs using temporary reassignments of channels, adding wireless transmission / reception units (WTRU) that employ a particular RAT to the same channel and / or by other techniques.
