Abstract  Abstract

Embodiments of the present invention provide a data transmission method a base station and a user equipment. The method comprises: a first base station sending a first piece of information to a second base station or the first base station receiving a first piece of information sent by the second base station the first piece of information instructing the second base station to serve a user equipment; the first base station sending a second piece of information to the user equipment the second piece of information instructing the user equipment to work on a carrier corresponding to the second base station so that the user equipment works on the carrier corresponding to the second base station after receiving the second piece of information. The data transmission method the base station and the user equipment provided by embodiments of the present invention can make a user equipment that cannot simultaneously work in cells corresponding to two base stations perform time division work in a multi-carrier aggregation system between base stations thereby reducing the chance of incorrectly scheduling a highly capable user equipment and avoiding performance loss due to a scheduling error.
