Abstract  Abstract

Disclosed are a method user equipment and base station for information transmission. The method comprises: acquiring a transmission mode of a data channel configured by the base station; determining a downlink control information (DCI) format set corresponding to the transmission mode where the DCI format set comprises a first DCI format while the first DCI format comprises single-byte character control information; and detecting on the basis of the DCI format set a control signaling transmitted by the base station and corresponding to the DCI format set. The user equipment comprises a first acquisition module a first determination module and a detection module. The base station comprises a configuration module a first determination module and a first transmission module. By at least corresponding the transmission mode of the data channel to two transmission schemes the method user equipment and base station of embodiments of the present invention thus allow for an enhanced control channel reduced control channel overhead improved system scheduling efficiency and flexibility for solving the problem of control channel congestion and for improved utilization rate of control channel resource of system.
